Healthy Chicken salad recipe for 4 people

Salads are a healthy and easy recipe to make. They are very beneficial for our health. We have learned about vegan salad recipes, today we will see a recipe for making salad with chicken. let's start :


Serve: 4 People time: 1 hour

Ingredients Chicken salad:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 400g)

  • Mixed greens veg (such as spinach, arugula, or lettuce) – 4 cups

  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced

  • 1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • Cherry tomatoes – 1 cup, halved

  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup black olives (optional)

  • 1/4 cup feta cheese (optional)

  • For the dressing:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or vinegar)

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • a pinch of dried herbs like oregano or thyme (optional)



Healthy chicken salad recipe for 4 people

Method of making chicken salad:

First, cook the chicken:

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Add a little olive oil.

  • Now cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until it's cooked through. Remove it from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

  • When it cools down a bit, chop the chicken into strips or cubes.


Prepare the salad:

  • In a large salad bowl, add mixed greens, cucumber, bell pepper, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.

  • You can also add black olives and feta cheese for extra flavor.

  • To make the dressing, in a small bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, pepper, and any herbs of your choice and mix the entire dressing well so that all the ingredients mix well together. 

  • Place the shredded chicken on top of the salad and mix it. Now pour the dressing over it and mix it slowly.

  • The salad is ready. Serve it immediately and enjoy!


This chicken salad is loaded with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, making it a great light meal. You can add a variety of ingredients to it as per your taste.
